SheWho is a feminist, women’s vocal ensemble dedicated to the beauty, power, and importance of women’s voices.
We sing to celebrate women, to express our diverse experiences of spirit, and to promote social change and justice.
We seek to create an intentional, musical community that is empowering for its participants, providing opportunities for musical and personal growth.
We seek to use and develop feminist organizational principles including shared leadership, cooperative decision-making, value of and respect for differences, and the importance of loving women — starting with ourselves and each other.
We seek to create harmony built from both consonance and dissonance, unison and polyphony, sound and silence, the imagination of individuals and the experience of the collective.
From all of this, we strive to create a wonderful and enriching experience that we can share with our broader communities.
